Vaporeon X Eevee Reader - Art is Beautiful

Today was my day off and since Frost and Leaf made it a point for me not to go over there I wasn’t going to but I really wanted to. I wanted to see how it was going but they wouldn’t let me. So I went to the Cove area. I always liked to walk along the water.

I then went up on the walkway and laid down looking in the water. For some reason I was feeling a little depressed. I mean yesterday I was with my friends and happy. Why would I be depressed?

I mean I even saw my crush, Aqua. I know. I know. He’s my best friend but I liked being around him. I loved the water and Aqua helped me learn how to swim. He took me under his ‘wing’ and helped me with a lot of things. He was always one to help and also to make me laugh.

I was lost in thought when then water was splashed in my face. I shook my head and then looked at the cause. It was Aqua. “You’re spacing out, (Name),” he said. “And you look sad. What’s wrong?”

“N-Nothing,” I said. “Well I don’t know myself.”

He smiled and then pulled me in. I screamed and then he helped me to the surface by putting me on his back. “Alright, then hold on. It’s a long swim.”

After awhile on his back I asked, “Where are we going? We’re leaving the area.” I looked back a couple of times.

“I want you to see something. Usually pokémon can only get there without Lapras but luckily for you, you have me,” he said.

“That answered one but not the other,” I said.

“I said I wanted you to see something,” he said. “Glalie and I have been working on it for awhile.”

“Working on what?” I asked trying to get him to spill.

He stopped swimming. “How bad do you want to know?” He asked over his shoulder.

“Come on, Aqua,” I said. “You wouldn’t hide it from me would you?” He started to swim again. “Aqua.”

“It’s a secret,” Aqua said.

“Aww, you’re such a tease,” I said. I rested my head on his.

“Well if I give all my secrets, you wouldn’t be interested in me now would you?” Aqua said.

We soon got to the Iceberg zone and on land. I shook my fur and I was I giant fluff ball. “Aww, you’re so cute,” Aqua said. “Come on, we’ll need to get you a scarf.”

Aqua took me to a small cabin and I got a scarf. It was a stripped (two favorite colors). Aqua put some ear muffs on me too. I stared up at him. “I don’t want you to get a cold.” Aqua was so sweet right now. He too put on a scarf but said that’s all he needed.

After I got dressed he took me over to where Glalie was. At first it was a bunch of igloos. He took me into one in particular. It had a large tarp on something in the back. “Alright, here we are. Do me a favor and read the plaque out loud.”

“O-Okay,” I said. I went up to it and it said, “To my dearest friend. I hope we can be more than friends. Also this is a crappy way of doing it but thank you for reading to me my stupidity. ~Aqua.” I sat down and looked at him. “What does that mean?”

He went to the tarp and then it came down. It was an ice sculpture of me. I stared at it. “Glalie and I have been working on this for awhile. It took me a long time to get it just right. What do you think?” he asked.

I put my head on his shoulder. “I think it’s beautiful and sweet. Also I’d like to be more then friends to,” I said shyly.

“What?” he asked. “Really?” I nodded and hung my head. He moved my head with his tail and smile. “That makes me so happy, (Name).” He then licked my cheek and I blushed. He smiled and let out a single happy chuckle.

I went up and licked his cheek. “Thank you, Aqua. I love it. I never knew you were so great with art.”

“Neither did I,” he said. “Until I found the perfect model. You know what they say, ‘Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and it’s always the perfect muse.’ Or something like that. I don’t know. I’m not good with quotes. But I did have the perfect model.” I blushed. “So then want to check out more sculptures?”

I nodded and then we went to go check out more of them. Though after seeing them all I loved mine the most. Aqua did such a good job on it and I loved it so much but no where near the amount I loved him.
