Sylveon x Reader - A picture's worth

The next day I was wondering about in the fields. It was such a nice day. Not a cloud in the sky and it was warm and sunny with a slight breeze. I sat down to look out at the ocean. It was then I heard a click sound. I looked around and saw Sylv.

I smiled. “Hey there, Sylv. Whatcha doing?” I asked as I went over to him.

“Just taking some pictures. Testing out my new camera,” he says.

I smiled. “You did that yesterday,” I said. “So you’re messing with it today? Can I see?”

“Uh, they’re no good,” he says.

“Come on, Sylv. If you took them they have to be good,” I said. “Misdreavus and Mismagius both gave high marks on your pictures. They were even in the newsletter.”

He blushes. “They were?” he asks.

“Yep. Misdreavus, used only you’re photos from yesterday. I’m shocked you didn’t know. Have you seen it yet?” I asked.

“No, I haven’t,” he says and blushes.

I went in my bag and then pulled out our newsletter. “See? It’s on Frost and Leaf’s café. They loved it so much they put it in and had Luxray do an article on it,” I said with a smile.

“L-Luxray?” he asks bashfully. “He’s the best journalist for the newsletter.”

“Yep and it’s on the front page. Rumor has it they want you to be their photographer,” I said. “Isn’t that great?”

“Better than great. It’s amazing!” he says happily. “(Name). This it the best thing to happen to me. Wait the second.”

“The second?” I asked tilting my head.

“The best was to find out that a sweet little Eevee would be my friend,” he said and I looked always with a blush on my face. He chuckled. “You are so cute.”

I took this chance to take his camera and put it around my neck and then ran ahead. I smiled and giggled. “Now I can see your pictures.”

“No!” he says and chased me.

I kept running and even passed Jolt. He ran to me. “Why are you running from Sylv?” he asks.

I stopped and Sylv ran into me and I was on his chest. “I’m not running.” I said.

“Sure looked like it. Aww, are you too be chummy?” he asks.

“Jolt!” we both said.

“Aww, you are,” he says. We then both blushed and looked away.

“Why is it we can’t ever just have fun? It always has to be a male and female up to something. We’re just friends,” I said.

Jolt started laughing. “Alright. Have fun ‘just friends’.”  He soon left with a yellow flash due to his fur.

“Sylv, that is alright. Right?” I asked leaned up against his legs and looked up at him.

He blushed. “Of course it is but . . . .” He soon looked away. What was wrong with us being friends?

“But what?” I asked a little heart broken. Did he not want to be my friend? Did he hate me now? Did I do something wrong? Tears formed in my eyes at thinking of this stuff.

“(N-Name)?” Sylv freaked out. “W-Why are you crying?”

“You don’t like me anymore? What did I do?” I asked sniffing.

He smiled. “You did nothing. I still like you but I wanted to say I wanted to be . . . your . . . mate.” He said with a blush.

“M-My mate?” I asked.

“Yeah,” he says and nuzzled my head. “I want to be, (Name).” I blushed and froze a little. “(Name)?”

I shook my head. “I’d like that a lot,” I said. I then said, “So since I’m your mate can I please see the pictures?”

He nodded shyly. I looked down and went threw the camera to see most if not all were of me. I stopped at one of me looking out at the ocean. “You’re my biggest inspiration. I feel like no matter what I smile when I see you so I wanted to see you a lot. You’re a great model and an even better friend.”

I blushed and then licked his cheek. “You’re really sweet, Sylv.”

“You’ll never know a picture’s worth unless you take it,” he says. “And I’d say these are worth something but to me it’s priceless because they are amazing and they are of you.”

I blushed and then nuzzled him. He was really sweet but I never knew this side of him before. I really loved it and now I could see it all I wanted.
