I was a really nervous to be walking home alone with Makoto. I mean come on a high school girl walking home alone with a guy at night? And even more such a cute guy like Makoto. I’d heard about him before I even saw him. Well I knew his name not what he looked like. Mostly every girl in my class had a crush on him. I hadn’t realized that that Makoto and this Makoto were the same person.
“So (Name), when did you start going to our school?” he asked. “I’ve never seen you around before.”
“Truth is I’ve always went to our school. I’m just always the girl in the back of . . . well everything. The last to get picked the whole nine yards,” I said with a slight giggle in my voice.
“Ahh. Really? I’m so sorry. I’ve never noticed you before,” he said with worry, obviously afraid to upset me.
“It’s okay. I’m used to being a no one,” I said.
“But you’re not a no one, you’re (name),” he said and looked over at me with a cute little smile. I blushed seeing it. Now I knew what all the fuss was about with him. He was cute, sweet, caring and a great swimmer. The best part was that he was kind to everyone. “And there is only one (Name).”
“I bet there are other (Name)s out there,” I said.
“Yes but you’re the only you there is,” he smiled again.
“You really are sweet,” I said. “But why?”
“Why am I sweet? Well there’s no reason to be mean so why would I be?” he asked.
“That’s a nice way to think. I wish I could think more like that. Well I’m nice to anyone who is willing to talk to me. I’m just afraid to get picked on or made fun of.” I said.
“Well how about this. If anyone picks on you, you just tell me or anyone in the swim club. Anyone will be willing to help out. Even Rei.” He said. Rei was a lot colder than everyone else. He was always thinking of formulas and equations, plus he was always thinking of being beautiful in every aspect.
“That’s really kind. More than anyone has been to me. Well Except Kou. We’ve been friends for a long time and she’s always really nice to me.” I said.
“How did you and Kou meet?” he asked.
“It was shortly after Rin left and she went to a different school. We went to summer school together at that school but when school started I had to leave but we still stayed friends. My parents made me go to summer school and then to swim meets until high school. Then they left to work in America.” I said.
“America? Like Haru,” he said quietly. “So do you live by yourself?”
“No, I have a pet goldfish,” I said. “Okay that sounded better in my head than out loud. So I suppose yes I do.”
“I-I see,” he said. “So then how about after school tomorrow you come over to my house and you can have dinner with me and my family. We can even study for the exam. Two birds one stone. B-But it’s not a date. Just friends hanging out together. Okay?”
I smiled. “Yeah. It sounds like fun anyway. I need help studying for the exam anyway,” I said. Why did I say that? I was ready for it. I was passing that class with flying colors. I guess because I wanted to spend more time with him. “But one condition.”
“What would that be?” he asked.
“I want to watch your swim meet tomorrow after school.” I said. “To get some pointers the next time I can swim.”
“Hmm. Okay but the next time you can swim. You swim with me,” he said.
“Maybe,” I said. I don’t know why it was so easy to talk to him but it was. Like an old friend but this was our first time meeting.
“Oh really?” he asked. He smiled before ticking me a little. I giggled and before I knew it we were really close together.
“I . . . Um.” I said softly.
Makoto moved the hair that had fallen in my face. “Well then it looks like were here,” he said. I looked and we were at my house. How did that happen so fast? I really wished I lived farther away.
“I guess you’re right,” I said softly.
He kissed my cheek while I looked at my house. “Good night, (name)-chan,” he said. “I’ll see you tomorrow.”
I couldn’t say anything as I held my cheek. So I nodded. He smiled and left as I went inside. I held the door once I was inside. That was my first kiss. Sure it wasn’t on the lips but still no guy has ever kissed me besides my dad. Makoto was the sweetest guy I ever met. He talked and listened to me. Then he walks me home, invites me to have dinner and a study date, and then kisses my cheek. It all seemed like a dream. Maybe it was.

After school the next day I went to the swim practice. I never went to our pool. Nagisa mentioned that they remade it all. Pulled out the weeds, shackled, and painted. It looked amazing minus one thing. None of the swim club members.
This was odd. Makoto said they had a meet today, yet no one was here. I wonder why. Did I miss it? Am I too late? Was I too early? I soon found my answer when I felt rain hit my head. I looked up to see it coming down. I didn’t even think it was going to rain today. It looked and felt nice.
I soon saw an umbrella go over my head. “You’ll catch a cold of you stay out in this,” Makoto’s voice said. I looked over to see him holding the umbrella with a smile. “We canceled due to the rain.”
“Good. I thought I missed it,” I said.
“So I guess you’ll have to see me swim another time,” he said. “Come I’ll get you in some dry clothes and we can study,” he said.
I nodded and followed him. I stayed close to him because of the umbrella. I felt like one of those couples on TV you see all time in movies.
We talked about a lot of random things on the way to his house. Once again he made me lose track of time and we were there before I knew it. He was amazing like that I suppose.
It felt odd when we went inside. We were taking off our jacket and shoes when we heard, “Onii-chan!” Two little kids tackled Makoto. A little girl and a little boy. They looked just like him. It was so cute.
“Ren, Ran,” he chuckled as he held them.
“Ran, Ren, you should let your brother breathe after he comes home,” a woman’s voice said. She had long olive brown hair and beautiful brown eyes. This was obviously his mother. “Oh, you must be, (Name). Makoto told me all about you. I’m his mother.”
“Oh, hello, Ma’am. This is a lovely home you have,” I smiled.
“Well thank you. Come with me I’ll give you some dry clothes and but those in the dryer.” She said. She took my hand before I had a chance to reply.
She got me into some dry clothes before putting mine in the dryer. I blushed as I looked down at my new outfit. It looked like one for a teen. I was a little shocked she had it. But it did look cute. It was a white pleated skirt and a cute (favorite color) shirt. I was even more nervous when I had to go see Makoto.
“So (Name), when did you start going to our school?” he asked. “I’ve never seen you around before.”

Mistletoe Shenanigans - { Reader x Makoto }
It was no secret that you and Makoto Tachibana had feelings for each other, both of you being too shy to admit to them. So when the holidays finally rolled around Nagisa took it upon himself to help the two of you out.
And how did he do that you ask?
It was quite simple really…
Mistletoe.
It was only a few days left until winter break and everyone had become a bit restless, barely paying attention to their studies, opting instead to buy gifts for their friends and celebrate the upcoming break. You were currently situated on the roof with the Iwatobi swim team (manager Gou included). A few months ago you had agreed to help Gou with ma

Tachibana (Name).
That's what Makoto called you.
But no one else did.
Why, may you ask, would no one call (Name) a Tachibana?
It all started one late evening...

The brunette turned around to see your figure running towards him with a big smile plastered on your face.
He loved seeing you, especially your beautiful smile. He was, you could say, completely head-over-heels for you.
You caught up to where he stood, smile still on your face.
"Makoto!" You said so excitedly, "Guess what?"
"What is it, (Name)?" The swimmer wondered what could have made you so happy.

"But it is Rei-chan! Look at her..." Nagisa defended himself pointing at you in the other side of the couch laughing hysterically. The boys observed while you almost doubled over upon watching your favorite comedy TV Show. You had finally convinced Gou to watch it and so you two had agreed on doing so in her house. Nagisa overheard it and invited himself, dragging the other members of the swim club with him to the Matsuoka's house.
And so there were you guys. In one couch sat you at the end of the couch, Gou in the middle and
